Week ending 28th May

During the week ending Sat 28th May we received 291kgs of food and gave out 849kgs, feeding 116 people, 48 of who are children. We also gave out 34 of our new fuel vouchers. This week we are in particular need of rice, cereals, whole milk, biscuits, tinned spaghetti, tinned fruit, tinned tomatoes, custard and sugar.

Friday 13th. Fuel Bank Launch.

The Trussell Trust and energy supplier npower offically launched the B30 Fuel Bank on Friday 13th May. Foodbank Van

From General Donations, Anonymous gifts , Churches Together in B30,  the Friends, the Limoges Trust, the Round Table and starting with a skittles evening sufficient funds were raised within three months to purchase the van which is proving very useful in collecting food and transferring the food from the warehouse to the distribution centre.
