Comedy audience brings in the goods!

Laura and Paige dropped off the donations following an appeal by popular comedian Eshaan Akbar.

Eshaan made the appeal directly to his audience, he said:

“I’m a big believer that where we can, we should try to do our bit. So, I’d be over the moon if you can come along to the show with a donation for B30 and South Birmingham FoodBank. We’ve made arrangements with every venue to work with a local foodbank to collect your donations to make it as easy as possible! If you’re donating food then you should focus on nutritional items with a long shelf life.” He then, very helpfully, listed the items we need most.

The comedy audience didn’t disappoint and we are very grateful to everyone who donated, Eshaan for the appeal, and Glee Club staff for organising the collection and delivery, you are all stars!
