Kindness Day reaps rewards for foodbank clients.

Silverston Court residents, Jenny and Rosalyn, this week organised the annual Mitzvah (Kindness) Day in Stirchley, supported by local Jewish organisations.
Thanks to their fantastic efforts B30 Foodbank received a very generous 168.3kg of food. The food was delivered straight to our warehouse for sorting and packing.
Heating costs are high as winter begins to bite and unfortunately many people have to choose between heating and eating and we are already seeing increased numbers at each foodbank session.
Mitzvah Day also supported BAB Baby Bank and the Silverstone Knit and Natter group supported Birmingham City Mission with dozens of blankets, scarves and hats.
