Can you help us keep on the road for clients?
Our one and only foodbank van has never been so busy, and today was no exception!
Before arriving at the warehouse this morning, foodbank manager, volunteer Roger, had already visited a number of shops across the area and filled up from their collection bins. Thankfully our community is digging deep and the donations are still very generous.
After unloading at the warehouse, Roger reloaded the van with orders made up for specific clients. These would be delivered to the Bournville Village Trust and the Active Wellbeing Society (TAWS) teams and then taken to client’s homes. Later in the day the van will also make deliveries to more homes, alongside the cars of more of our volunteers.
