This year have had more food going out than coming in, can you help us?

3rd July 2022

In the first half of 2022 we were very grateful to receive donations totalling 42,519kg and gave out 55,387kg feeding 5,103 people. Unfortunately we don’t see client numbers dropping any time soon, but we are aware of how the cost of living crisis is affecting donations.

For the moment we have stocks we can tap into and are able to use funds to top up the stocks when we need to. Cash donations are particularly useful right now, as we can go to the wholesalers and top of our stock when short of a particular item. Food donations are always needed too, they save us money and volunteer time.

If you are in a workplace, community, street or school where you haven’t collected previously or not for a while and think you could do one soon, we would appreciate your action.
Or if you can spare a few pounds and donate to the Foodbank via our website, every penny will go to help people in crisis and is much appreciated.
We have changed our bank details and they can be seen on our donate money page>>
If you are donating by standing order and have NOT been contacted by our treasurer please contact him  [email protected]

Thanks to our local community for your ongoing support, we couldn’t do it without you!
