A mum living in temporary accommodation is urging people struggling financially not to be embarrassed about seeking help.

Julie and her six-year-old daughter visited the B30 Food Bank in Birmingham for the first time yesterday.”

I’m quite forward to ask for help. I don’t feel embarrassed, I can see how some might feel. If other people are in my position, they too need to come forward and ask for help.”

They’ve spent weeks moving between short-term housing after becoming homeless.
